On 1st May Marvel Studios has officially rebranded their new movie Thunderbolts as NEW AVENGERS.
THUNDERBOLT CASTS
In this movie “THUNDERBOLT”a team of Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stans), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) Red Guardian (David Harbour), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Yelena Belova (Folrence Pugh) and Task Master (Olga Kurilenko) is assembled by CIA Director Valentina Allegr de Fontaine (Julia Luisedre-Fuse) for a secret mission.
By the way this is the 36th movie of MCU and also the last movie of Phase 5 . you must have noticed there is an astrick sign in the last movie along with the title of Thunderbolt which means absence of Avengers team or replacement of Avengers. Now in their absence a team which never existed has to take up the responsibility of saving the world. This Thunderbolts is an anti-hero team up in which all the people are a little crazy minded.
In this film, along with superhero material, movie team has given focus on dark past, mental health, loneliness. The movie is around 2 hours long and in more than half of the film. The main focus is on this dark past which was also necessary to build up the characters according to the theme of the movie. By the way, Bob’s character is a surprise package because of which a new character has already been introduced . when we get to see Bob’s power even Superman will look pale in front of him. The whole movie goes on fine. The 1st half is a bit boring, more exposition, less action, some characters did not get any screen time and the villain should have worked a little harder.
In this the villain has not been properly set up, there is just a negative face, loneliness, dark past. Now how do Thunderbolts come forward in the future. Overall this movie is not so good wow type, not so bad disaster type, it will give you mixed feelings because every Marvel movie is connected with each other.
